The Ultimate 10-Minute Makeup Routine for Work-at-Home
Whether you like to stretch your mornings in bed or you need minimal makeup for a work-at-home day, this ultimate guide is here to help. Sometimes, all you need is 10-minute makeup that will make your face glow, look healthy, and you feel good about it. Full face makeup isn’t something that we are considering, especially after the pandemic, masks, lockdowns, and working at home. You will see, even with minimal makeup your face can look incredible.
Since many people are working from their homes now, Zoom calls became a part of everyday routine. If you need to look appropriate in front of your boss, then follow these easy steps to achieve perfect 10-minute makeup.
Don’t Skip Your Morning Skincare
Even if you don’t have time to apply full face makeup, you need to find the time for your morning skincare routine. It is crucial and can’t be missed out. A gentle cleanser, toner, serum, and moisturizer are the products you need to ensure the flawless base for any other makeup.
After applying skincare, use a primer to prep your skin for makeup. There are many of these on the market, choose them according to your skin type. The primer will ensure the base stays natural, protecting it from looking cakey or dusty.
Apply Tinted Moisturizer or Foundation
This step can also be called a barely-there base. You will need a product that won’t make your face look cakey, but glowy and natural. If you prefer, you can skip the foundation and apply a tinted moisturizer or concealer only. Tinted moisturizer offers natural coverage with a subtle glow, and most importantly the ultra dose of hydration.
If you are having a Zoom call, use something that will make your face look less washed out. You need to opt for something slightly darker than your natural skin tone.
Put Brows in Place
Brows are a very important part of our face. Their look can change your whole face in a second so that is why it is important to put them in place, even for this work-at-home makeup. You don’t even need to use a brow pencil anymore. Brow gels with brushes are a much more practical option, that will take only a minute or two to style your brows.
So, whether your brows are long or short, only by brushing through them can you get an impeccable look that is perfect for both video calls and work-at-home offices.
Use Creamy Bronzer
Creamy products represent a holy grail of quick and easy makeup routines. Bronzer will flawlessly add more color to your face, just in the right places. You should concentrate on areas that usually get hit under the sun: under the cheekbones, bridge of the nose, and below the jaw.

Use Creamy Blush and Highlighter
Blush can make you feel alive in video calls so that is why you shouldn’t miss it. You can opt for a classic blush too, but we would always suggest using the advantage of creamy products. You can even apply them with your fingers, without a brush.
Highlighter will make your face glow, just be careful not to overdo it with the application. Just a small dab and it will be enough.
Prolong The Lashes
You might wonder where the eyeshadow step went. It is completely optional for you to apply eyeshadow if you like, but to save time, just work on your lashes. Mascara will open your eyes, making your eye color pop. If you want to look good in front of a camera, this is your way of doing it.
All you need to do is to curl your lashes and then apply a coat or two (be generous) of your favorite mascara. If you want to lift up your eyes to another level, add a bit of black or brown eyeliner to the waterline.

Lip Gloss or Lipstick for the End
To finish off this work-at-home makeup look, you need to use a lip pencil and your favorite lip gloss or lipstick. First, line the lips with the nude pencil and fill the rest in with lightly colored gloss or lipstick. You are all set for the day!
